The work experience of prefabricated construction in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province is promoted by the Provincial Housing and Construction Department

Recently, the Department of Housing and Urban-rural Development of Shaanxi Province issued the "Work Briefing on Housing Urban and Rural Construction", introducing Xi'an's national prefabricated building model urban construction experience and practices, and promoting Xi'an prefabricated construction work measures.

In recent years, Xi’an has continued to implement Jinping’s ecological civilization ideas and concepts of green development, circular development, and low-carbon development, as well as the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s visit to Shaanxi to inspect important speeches. Vigorously develop prefabricated buildings, continuously increase the proportion of prefabricated buildings in new buildings, improve the technical level and engineering quality, and promote the transformation and upgrading of the construction industry.

Xi'an takes the model city as the lead to promote the development of prefabricated buildings. The main methods are as follows: First, the policy is to guide the development of prefabricated buildings. Three important prefabricated building policies were successively introduced, and the development principles, overall goals, development period, and key tasks were clarified based on the actual situation; the second is coordinated development, and the industrial layout of prefabricated building development was initially formed. Organized the compilation of more than 10 types of prefabricated building standard atlases, cultivated 4 industrial bases, built 17 production lines, and a large number of demonstration projects with high assembly rate emerged; the third is to take multiple measures to drive the industry to actively develop prefabricated buildings. Establish a prefabricated expert database, organize multiple publicity and implementation training and on-site observations, study active policies, consolidate responsibilities, and exert precise efforts to ensure that policies are implemented on the ground.

In the next step, Xi'an will continue to promote various tasks in the prefabricated building model city, further exert its supervisory functions, and promote the better and faster development of prefabricated buildings. The first is to give full play to the role of the city in promoting the joint meeting of prefabricated buildings, consolidate the responsibilities and tasks of various departments, districts, counties, and development zones, and hold joint meetings on a regular basis to coordinate and advance specific work. The second is to further improve supporting policies, supplement industry standards and regulations, explore more specific and effective incentive policies such as pre-sale permits, and establish a library of prefabricated building demonstration projects. The third is to promote the development of the entire industry. Give play to the leading role of leading companies in the prefabricated construction industry such as Shaanxi No. 5 Construction, Vanke Real Estate, and Meihao Real Estate, vigorously promote the EPC general contracting model, guide capable component manufacturers to transform and upgrade to an "industry-university-research" integrated base to form a new development situation for the prefabricated construction industry.
