120 prefabricated construction workers from 44 teams across the country gathered in Jinan to compete on the same stage

On December 18th, the national finals of the "Prefabricated Construction Workers" competition of the 4th National Prefabricated Construction Vocational Skills Competition was held in Jinan.

Prefabricated building refers to the transfer of a large amount of on-site work in the traditional construction method to the factory, where the building components and accessories, such as floor slabs, wall panels, stairs, and balconies, are processed in the factory. Then it is transported to the construction site, and the building is assembled and installed on-site through a reliable connection method.

The reporter learned that the competition includes four projects: theory competition, deep design competition, prefabricated prefabricated component production practice competition, and prefabricated prefabricated component hoisting practice competition. It is the skill competition with the most types of competitions in the field of prefabricated construction in China.

How to promote the prefabricated building from the grassroots level, the key is to improve the level of construction personnel. Wang Chongjie, professor of Shandong Jianzhu University and chief consultant of Shandong Science and Technology Education Association, said: "How to use new software technology to give full play to its science and accuracy in prefabricated buildings, and how to quickly complete the production and hoisting of components with high quality is an important criterion for the competition."

The competition venue is set up in the China Construction Green Industrial Park, which is a modern cluster of construction industries with "green building product research and development" as the mainstay, and prefabricated building parts manufacturing, intelligent equipment research and development, software development and application industries as supplementary clusters. Sun Changbiao, secretary of the Party branch and general manager of the Green Building Development Company of China Construction Eighth Engineering Co., Ltd., told reporters that China Construction Green Industrial Park has become the country's largest prefabricated industrial park with the most complete product range.

"Through the holding of this competition, we provide a platform for prefabricated construction workers to display their skills, so as to train more construction workers in the new era, help the transformation and upgrading of the construction industry, and make greater contributions." Sun Changbiao said.

There were 44 enterprise representatives from all over the country, and 120 prefabricated construction workers competed on the same stage. In the end, the participating team of Shandong Tianyuan Green Building Technology Co., Ltd. won the first prize of the group in this competition, and Guo Aiwen of Shandong Huifu Construction Group Construction Industry Co., Ltd. won the first prize of individual in the prefabricated component production practice competition.
