Green buildings account for 100% of new projects in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province

On December 9, the reporter learned from the Hangzhou Municipal Construction Committee that the first batch of demonstration projects for green buildings and building energy efficiency in Hangzhou in 2021 passed expert review, and 23 projects including the Future Experience Hall of Yunfan Community in Qiantang District were included in the demonstration plan.

"Green building is an important measure to promote the construction of ecological civilization and implement the carbon peak and carbon neutrality in the construction field. It is an inevitable way to achieve the green development of urban and rural construction and the transformation and upgrading of the construction industry. At present, we are fully promoting green buildings in the city in accordance with the requirements of ‘full regional coverage and full project coverage’.” According to the relevant person in charge of the Municipal Construction Committee, the proportion of high-star green buildings in the city has increased significantly in the past two years, and the goal of "the proportion of high-star (two-star, three-star) green buildings in the city will reach 65% by 2025" has been achieved ahead of schedule.

In 2020, there will be a total of 780 new projects in the city, including 430 two-star projects and 40 three-star projects. Green buildings account for 100% of new buildings and 68.72% of high-star projects. As of the end of October this year, there were a total of 582 new projects in the city, including 317 two-star projects and 43 three-star projects. Green buildings accounted for 100% of new buildings, and high-star projects accounted for 73.5%.

The veritable green buildings are building a strong base for reducing emissions and energy saving in this city.

Walking into the Hangzhou Zijin Zhongchuang Town, the B1 building of the Zijin Campus of the Architectural Design and Research Institute of Zhejiang University is particularly eye-catching-under its industrial-style "hardcore" shell, there is a delicate and unique "green" core.

"This project is a prefabricated building demonstration project of the Ministry of Construction in 2019, with a prefabrication rate of 85% and an assembly rate of 96.8%. It was rated as a national AAA prefabricated building and a three-star green building. Through green construction, construction energy consumption can be saved by 15%-30%." According to the relevant person in charge of the Architectural Design and Research Institute of Zhejiang University, in addition to adopting various energy-saving technical measures to reduce building energy consumption, an outstanding feature of the project is the expression of the integration of the building and the landscape. "In addition to the main entrance water system full of ritual sense on the west side of the building, a rest platform constructed of volcanic stone and PC wood-based panels is also set up on the east side. Bamboo forests and flower paths enrich the spatial hierarchy of the park roads and secondary entrances. Combined with the indoor coffee shop and lobby lounge, it forms a mutual view of indoor and outdoor recreational spaces, which fully reflects the human-oriented core of green building. "

As a newly selected demonstration project this year, the future Yunfan City Experience Hall in Qiantang District also shows its super "green" strength.

"The experience hall adopts green technology measures such as high-performance enclosure structure, ground-source heat pump HVAC system, floor heat radiation, high-efficiency energy-saving lighting, exhaust heat recovery unit, photovoltaic building integration and other green technology measures."

The relevant person in charge of Hangzhou Rongfan Construction Development Co., Ltd., the construction unit of the future Yunfan City, introduced that this is the first project in the Hangzhou Future Community Pilot Project that has obtained the national standard near-zero energy building certification. The comprehensive building energy saving rate reached 76.93%, and the renewable energy utilization rate reached 74.3%.
