"Is it a fantasy to let the summer sun bring people warmth in winter?" said Ren Jun, a professor at the School of Architecture of Tianjin University. This is not a delusion.

A few days ago, the “Sino-German Eco-City Exhibition Hall” designed by the team led by Ren Jun passed the evaluation of the China Building Energy Conservation Association and obtained the national authority certification. After completion, it will become the first “zero energy consumption” building in Tianjin.

As a steel structure prefabricated building, the assembly rate of the exhibition hall after completion can reach 92%, which means that basically all the structures of the Sino-German Eco-City exhibition hall, including sand, cement and other traditional decoration materials for wet work, will be replaced by factory prefabricated wall panels. Prefabricated buildings under the steel structure system will reduce carbon emissions from the source of material production, greatly reduce environmental pollution during the construction process, and ensure the green and environmental protection of the entire industry chain.

According to national standards, energy-consuming buildings are divided into ultra-low energy consumption, near zero energy consumption and zero energy consumption. The "Sino-German Eco-City Exhibition Hall" adopts the concept of "passive" houses. The energy generated by the photovoltaic power generation system on the roof, parking lot and carport can be offset with the energy consumed during the building's use, so as to achieve the zero-energy building standard. To ensure that the comprehensive value of building energy consumption is not higher than 29 kWh/m2 per year, this technology can reach the world's top level.

Project designer Ren Jun said in an interview that the zero-energy building designed this time makes full use of natural energy such as natural light and solar heat to improve its own insulation system. The natural circulation system is used during use to meet the comfort requirements while achieving ultra-low energy consumption in building use.

"We can imagine such a picture in a park lined with trees and shimmering water. The sun shines into the house through a huge skylight, and people sit in the house or chat or read. It is cool in summer and warm in winter. Whether it's bathing in the sun or sitting in the snow, the house has a constant temperature throughout the four seasons and complements the park environment. And such a building requires almost no energy consumption, it is a breathing and living house. "Ren Jun said.

At the end of October, the State Council Information Office released the white paper "China's Policies and Actions to Address Climate Change", promoting "promoting green buildings and gradually improving the evaluation standard system for green buildings. Demonstration of ultra-low energy and nearly zero energy buildings." The team led by Professor Ren Jun of Tianjin University, under the premise of ensuring the use of building functions, through the use of renewable energy and the full use of natural energy, has been carefully studying the reduction of building energy consumption and striving to achieve low carbon emissions in the entire building industry chain.

On the other hand, the School of Architecture of Tianjin University has been committed to low-carbon building research for a long time, in order to help the construction sector to save energy and reduce emissions, to promote the development of green and low-carbon transitions, to promote the supply-side structural reform of the construction industry, and to promote my country's carbon peak and carbon neutral activities. Target. Whether it is a community cultural service center with ultra-low energy consumption, a demonstration house that can produce more than 200% of its own capacity, or a low-carbon demonstration town, all projects are at the world's leading level.

It is reported that the eco-city exhibition hall will start construction in the portal exhibition park of the Sino-German Tianjin Daqiuzhuang Eco-city in Jinghai District next year, with a total construction scale of approximately 1,980 square meters. After completion, the exhibition hall will be opened to the public as a demonstration site for the promotion of low-carbon buildings, where citizens can experience a low-carbon, environmentally friendly and green lifestyle.
