After the visit, the staff of the Dezhou Municipal Bureau of Housing and Urban-Rural Development introduced the development of the green building creation work in Dezhou to the invited representatives, and listened to the opinions and suggestions of the delegates. It is understood that after more than 8 years of development, the green buildings in Dezhou City have been developed from scratch, from less to more, from individual counties and districts to the entire city. In order to implement the concept of green development, promote the construction of ecological civilization, and promote the steady development of green buildings in Dezhou City, the Housing and Urban-rural Development Bureau of Dezhou City, based on actual conditions, issued the "Implementation Opinions on the Implementation of Shandong Province's Green Building Promotion Measures" and issued the "Dezhou City Green Building Creation Action Implementation Plan". By 2022, Dezhou City will add more than 10 million square meters of green buildings, and the proportion of green buildings in newly-built civil buildings in cities and towns will reach 80%. Star-rated green buildings will be promoted steadily, and the application of green building materials will be further expanded. Newly-built buildings in cities and towns accounted for 31% of urban areas and 25% of counties (cities).

Since the beginning of this year, Dezhou City has implemented 232 new building projects covering an area of 10.683 million square meters with green building design standards. The implementation rate of green building design standards in the design phase of new civil buildings in the urban planning area has reached 100%. The newly-added energy-saving building area was 8,131,300 square meters, the city's solar-thermal integration application area was 7.966 million square meters, and 52 prefabricated construction projects were started with an area of 2,485,900 square meters.
