The theme of the forum is "Green Bay Area, Zero Carbon Future". The "Guangdong Province Green Building Creation Action Implementation Plan" requires that the green building grade requirements be included in the planned land use conditions, and the green building creation action will be carried out in an all-round way. The proportion of urban green buildings in new buildings is steadily increasing, and it is expected to reach 70% by the end of 2021.

It is understood that Shenzhen is one of the cities with the largest number of green building construction scale, construction density and green building evaluation label projects in China. At present, the total number of green building label projects has exceeded 1,400, covering an area of more than 140 million square meters, leading the country in number and area. Among them, 18 projects won the National Green Building Innovation Award.

Xue Feng, deputy director of the Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Housing and Construction, said that Shenzhen will strengthen the design of the top-level system at a higher level and establish a regulatory system for building energy efficiency and green building development that is compatible with the "dual districts".
