Hengshui City, Hebei Province, plans to renovate 415 old communities in cities and towns next year

A few days ago, the reporter learned from the Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau of Hengshui that during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, the city plans to renovate a total of 727 old communities in cities and towns. In 2021, it is planned to renovate 312 old communities in cities and towns, and in 2022, it is planned to complete the reconstruction of 415 old communities; by the end of 2022, the task of rebuilding old communities in cities and towns during the "14th Five-Year Plan" will be fully completed.

"The renovation of old communities in cities and towns is mainly aimed at residential communities that were built early in the city or county (chengguan town), are out of care, maintenance and management, incomplete municipal supporting facilities, incomplete community service facilities, and strong residents' willingness to renovate." According to the relevant person in charge of the Hengshui Municipal Housing and Urban-rural Construction Bureau, the old community reconstruction is divided into three types: basic type, perfect type and upgrade type. According to the residents' wishes and the actual situation of the community, the content of the renovation is determined by the N+X method.

The basic category is the content that meets the residential safety needs and basic living needs of residents. It mainly includes the demolition of illegal buildings in the community, the improvement of fire protection and security facilities, the improvement of environmental sanitation facilities, and the improvement of the drainage, roads, weak electricity, household garbage classification and other infrastructure within the community and associated with the community. The perfect category is the content that meets the needs of residents' convenience in life and the needs of improving their lives. It mainly includes the construction of community parks, the improvement of the greening level of the community, the improvement of the community and surrounding facilities for the elderly, the renovation of supporting facilities such as parking lots, electric bicycles and car charging facilities, cultural and leisure facilities, as well as the energy-saving renovation of buildings, the installation of elevators, the safety reinforcement of the building itself, etc. The promotion category is the content that enriches the supply of community services and improves the quality of life of residents.
