Zhejiang Province holds a pilot work meeting for steel structure prefabricated houses

On September 2, Zhejiang Provincial Department of Construction held a report meeting on the pilot work of steel structure prefabricated houses in Hangzhou to exchange the progress of the pilot work of steel structure prefabricated houses in various regions, study and deploy the next step. Zhu Yongbin, a member of the Party Group of the Provincial Construction Department and the head of the Provincial Construction Management Station, attended the meeting.

The meeting affirmed the pilot work of steel structure prefabricated houses in various places in Zhejiang Province, and pointed out the main problems in the current work. The meeting requested that all localities should further recognize the shortcomings, raise awareness in ideology, implement responsibilities in action, and accelerate the development of steel structure prefabricated houses in Zhejiang Province.

One is to further unify thinking and understanding. Fully understand the important role of promoting the development of steel structure prefabricated houses, further strengthen organization and leadership, improve working mechanisms, implement work responsibilities, strengthen policy support, and increase promotion.

The second is to further accelerate the advancement of pilot projects. In accordance with the clear objectives and tasks of the pilot program, formulate specific work plans and implementation plans, pay close attention to the implementation of responsibilities, focus on promoting the implementation of steel structure prefabricated residential projects, and strive to produce a batch of projects and a batch of models.

The third is to further improve the standard system. The industry association should give full play to its role and take the lead in organizing the compilation of technical regulations and methods such as "technical regulations for prefabricated partially clad steel-concrete composite structure" and "construction method for inner partition wall of autoclaved aerated concrete lightweight slab", so as to improve the general standard and technical system of prefabricated steel structure houses.

The fourth is to further improve the industrial supporting capacity. Actively guide the transformation of steel structure enterprises into general contracting enterprises, and promote the upstream and downstream linkage of fabricated steel structure buildings. Speed up the upgrading of intelligent manufacturing of steel structure enterprises, promote the technological upgrading of production lines and the innovation of manufacturing models. Strengthen the construction of production capacity, optimize the layout of productivity, and actively promote the construction of steel structure industrialization base.

The fifth is to further promote the integrated development of urban and rural areas. Summarize and promote the development of steel structure rural housing in Lin'an, Keqiao and other places, and guide rural residents to adopt light steel frame structure, low-rise cold-formed thin-wall steel structure and other steel structure systems for self-built houses of rural residents.

Hangzhou Construction Committee, Ningbo Construction Bureau, Shaoxing Construction Bureau, Lin'an District Construction Bureau, and Keqiao District Construction Bureau made presentations on behalf of the 5 pilot areas. Relevant persons in charge of the Department’s Marketing Office, Provincial Construction Management Station, Provincial Cost Station, and Provincial Steel Structure Industry Association attended the report meeting.
