According to long-term follow-up observations and interviews with reporters from China Construction News, many of the first batch of national prefabricated construction industry bases have achieved some good results in technological system innovation and research and development, and industrial cluster development through continuous efforts. But at the same time, there are common problems such as the lack of in-depth coordination between different majors, the lack of in-depth coordination between industries, and the high overall cost. Take Zhejiang Southeast Grid Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Southeast Grid"), one of the first batch of national prefabricated construction industry bases, as an example. In recent years, although certain experience has been accumulated in the construction of the industrial chain coordination system and market expansion, it also faces some practical problems that hinder development.

It is not advisable to find the correct positioning and blindly chase hotspots

In recent years, under the guidance and support of a series of favorable policies, the prefabricated construction related industries have achieved rapid development, especially the rapid development of the construction of a number of representative national prefabricated construction industrial bases. Many explorations have been made in various aspects such as technological system innovation and research, construction of intelligent factories, and construction of the entire industrial chain. Not only has it added a large number of innovative technologies, created a unique practical application system, and increased its application in hospitals, schools, residential buildings, urban complexes, and bridges, but also cultivated some good companies in the entire industry chain.

However, there are still many issues worth noting in the construction of the national prefabricated construction industry base, including various aspects such as the enterprise's own development positioning, industrial coordination, and integration of production, education and research. Many interviewees said that during the advancement of prefabricated buildings, some companies were too chasing hot spots, taking turns to engage in prefabricated concrete (PC), steel structures, and assembly interiors, making the entire industry development chaotic and disorderly. At the same time, due to the lack of in-depth coordination between different enterprises and professions, the advantages of prefabricated buildings cannot be fully utilized. Instead, some projects that apply prefabricated building systems have longer construction periods and higher costs.

Fang Hongqiang, vice president of Hangxiao Steel Structure Co., Ltd., said in this analysis that many companies in the development of the prefabricated construction industry like to blindly chase hot spots. In many cases, they do not distinguish between the industry and the industry, and fail to find the positioning and path. They are assembled for assembly. In fact, prefabricated buildings are the starting point, the industrialization of new buildings is the path, and the modernization of the construction industry is the goal.

Guo Qing also said that many things are a process of barbaric growth at the beginning of development, and it is normal for them to be insufficiently standardized and encounter problems. “Now the problems in the development of prefabricated buildings have surfaced. Next, various national prefabricated building industry bases still need to find new development opportunities in the problems and provide targeted solutions."

Be professional and professional, and give full play to your own advantages

Zhang Bo, chairman of Shandong Wanstar Technology Co., Ltd., said that the national prefabricated construction industry base still needs to continue to do a good job of technical reserves, talent reserves, capital reserves, and improve market development capabilities. At the same time, it must continue to deepen and extensively think about the industry. It is necessary to be able to see the essence through the phenomenon and grasp the soul of the industry, otherwise it is very likely that the decision-making process will be different, the road will become narrower and narrower, or even be eliminated.

"If the national prefabricated construction industry base is to develop better, the development direction of the enterprise must be consistent with the national development direction, and the development direction of the internal prefabricated construction of the enterprise must be consistent with the strategic development direction of the enterprise itself, and it must not expand blindly." He Jingzi, vice president of Zhejiang Yasha Decoration Co., Ltd., said that many national prefabricated construction industrial bases have the nature of the entire industry chain, and it is important to balance the development of design, research and development, manufacturing, installation, operation and maintenance and other links.
