Multi-sectoral efforts to promote cleaner production, building energy-saving standards will continue to improve

Ten departments including the National Development and Reform Commission issued the "Fourteenth Five-Year Plan for National Cleaner Production Promotion." In terms of cleaner production in the construction industry, it is required that by 2025, all newly built buildings in cities and towns meet the green building standards. They will continue to improve the energy-saving standards of new buildings, accelerate the large-scale development of ultra-low energy, near-zero energy, and low-carbon buildings, and promote the energy-saving transformation of existing buildings and municipal infrastructure in cities and towns.
