Since 2021, the newly constructed prefabricated building area of Chuzhou civil buildings will be 1.85 million square meters, and the completed prefabricated building area will be 700,000 square meters. In September 2021, Chuzhou City was listed as the first batch of provincial-level prefabricated construction demonstration cities in the province.

A total of 16 projects in the city were selected for municipal demonstration, 9 projects were demonstrated by provincial prefabricated buildings, and more than 20.4 million yuan was allocated for awards and subsidies.

Priority is given to prefabricated buildings in affordable housing projects, resettlement housing and government-invested public construction projects, and prefabricated buildings are included in the land transfer requirements as planning conditions in real estate development projects. Since 2021, the city has transferred 8 plots of prefabricated construction planning conditions, arranged 7 indemnificatory housing projects of 1.1 million square meters, and construction of 780,000 square meters has started.

Support enterprises based on their own technological advantages, research and explore the prefabricated construction technology suitable for the region, and the two enterprises were awarded the titles of "High-tech Enterprise" and "Provincial Technology Center". Related companies have successively developed 9 enterprise-level construction methods, 6 enterprise-level standards, participated in the compilation of 2 industry standards, and obtained more than 160 relevant national invention patents and utility model patents. A platform for cooperation between enterprises, universities, and scientific research institutes was built. 15 scientific research topics and construction projects were approved by the Provincial Department’s Construction Science and Technology Plan, and 43 talents in the construction field were selected into the Anhui Province Construction Science and Technology Expert Database.
