1,600 people in Changchun City, Jilin Province will participate in vocational skills training for prefabricated construction workers

In order to strengthen technological innovation and integrated services, vigorously develop professional operation enterprises, and cultivate professional, specialized and skilled construction industry workers, on November 1, Changchun City held 2021 vocational skills training for prefabricated construction workers, which kicked off the prelude to the vocational skills training for prefabricated construction enterprise employees in the city.

The training was organized in accordance with the "government, school and enterprise" cooperation model. Sponsored by the Municipal Construction Committee and undertaken by Jilin University of Architecture, and co-organized by the Municipal Prefabricated Construction Industry Association, Changchun Runde Prefabricated Construction Industrial Park Management Co., Ltd., China State Construction Technology Changchun Co., Ltd., and Jilin Province Zhongrun Steel Structure Technology Co., Ltd. After the joint efforts of the Municipal Construction Committee, the Municipal Prefabricated Construction Association and the training bases, it is planned to train about 1,600 design, supervision, cost, management personnel and technical workers in four phases (November 1st to December 10th).

At the opening ceremony, Fu Qiang, general manager of Changchun Runde Group, mobilized for the opening of the class and made all-round mobilization in terms of teacher teaching, student learning, and improving the quality of training. Then, the person in charge of the training base and the teachers who participated in the teaching respectively made statements.

Wang Zhenjiang, chief economist of the Municipal Construction Commission, put forward expectations for this training on behalf of the Municipal Construction Commission, asking the trainees to raise their awareness and clarify their goals; cherish opportunities and achieve success in learning; go all out to apply what they have learned. Really turn training into a "university hall" and "verification field" for prefabricated buildings, and effectively deliver talents in urgent need for the city's prefabricated construction industry.

It is also reported that it is expected that during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, a total of about 5,000 people will be trained. By the end of the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, the employment rate of employees with certificates will reach 100%, and a vocational training system and a large-scale work force suitable for the construction of the Changchun metropolitan area and the development of construction industrialization will be fully established.
