Dongfang City, Hainan Province Holds Quality and Safety Standardization Observation Meeting for Prefabricated Construction Sites

In order to promote the construction industry to strictly control quality and safety and put the work of safety production standardization in place, recently, the 2021 Dongfang City construction project quality and safety civilized construction standardization and prefabricated construction demonstration project observation meeting was held in the Country Garden Oriental Pearl Project.

Nearly 300 people from Hainan Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, Hainan Provincial Construction Engineering Quality and Safety Supervision and Administration Bureau, heads of relevant units in Dongfang City, and representatives from construction, construction, and supervision of some projects under construction participated in the observation meeting.

At the observation meeting, five project sites, including the second phase of the Pearl of the Orient Project in Country Garden and the first phase of relocation and relocation of the Binhai shantytown project, were awarded the title of "2021 Dongfang City Construction Engineering Quality and Safety Civilized Construction Standard Chemical Site".

During the on-site observation session, the participants visited the climbing frame, quality model, prefabricated wall panel installation, structural model, VR simulation experience and other quality model display areas and safety experience areas of the Country Garden Oriental Pearl Project.

"As an explorer of the industrialization of a new type of building, we are actively creating a'observation site sample', hoping to take advantage of the opening of the assembly site to share experience and make progress together with colleagues in the industry." Tang Wentao, the person in charge of the Pearl of the Orient Project of Country Garden, introduced that in order to solve the common problems of traditional crafts and management models, the project adopts prefabricated construction techniques, combined with the new construction methods of Country Garden such as aluminum molds, climbing frames, and all-in-place exterior walls. It effectively overcomes the three major architectural problems of leakage, hollowing, and cracking caused by traditional construction methods.

The observation meeting was hosted by the Dongfang City Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau. The event set up a platform for enterprises to learn from each other, exchange and learn from advanced management experience, and effectively promoted the improvement of the quality and safety production management level of Dongfang City's prefabricated construction projects.
