Shandong: The first comprehensive assembly metro station in China begins to be assembled

On October 29th, the country's first all-round prefabricated metro station, invested by Qingdao Metro Group and constructed by China Railway Fourth Bureau Group, began to be assembled at Koloshi Station on Qingdao Metro Line 6. All-round prefabricated subway station means that the main structure of the station and the internal structural beams, slabs, and columns are all prefabricated.

Liu Quanwei, chairman and general manager of Qingdao Metro Line 6 Co., Ltd., said that it took 10 months for Qingdao Metro to innovatively conquer assembly and construction technology and realize 100% prefabrication of beams, slabs, columns and walls in subway stations. In order to implement the concept of green development, implement the strategic deployment of carbon peak and carbon neutrality, and promote the iterative upgrade of subway construction technology, a solid step has been taken.

According to Wang Kaifa, the chief engineer of the project, compared with traditional cast-in-place construction methods, a station can save 4-6 months of construction period, reduce the number of construction workers by 80%, save 800 tons of steel, 800 cubic meters of wood, and reduce construction waste by 60%. The prefabricated construction technology has huge advantages in environmental protection. The impact on the environment during the construction process is greatly reduced, and the carbon reduction effect is obvious. According to statistics, it reduces carbon emissions by 20%, which makes a direct contribution to "carbon peak and carbon neutrality".

It is understood that the six stations of the first phase of Line 6 have been innovatively researched and applied omni-directional prefabricated technology. Not only solves the technical problems of production, turnover, and transportation of large-scale unprestressed concrete components (110 tons), but also independently researches and develops the tooling equipment of "160 tons of intelligent gantry crane + integrally separated trolley". Comprehensive use of three-dimensional laser scanning technology and BIM technology to control the assembly accuracy of prefabricated components at millimeter level, achieve precise design, production, and assembly, overcome the first domestic pile support system station assembly and construction problems, and filled many gaps in this technology in China.

Qingdao Metro Line 6 is an autonomous operation demonstration project determined by the National Development and Reform Commission, and a demonstration project for the conversion of new and old kinetic energy in Shandong Province.
