With an assembly rate of 91%, it is expected to become the first prefabricated construction project above the 3A standard in Hainan Province

On the afternoon of October 28, on the construction site of the Medical Education Collaboration Project of the Provincial People’s Hospital of Xiuying District, Haikou City, with the completion of the last slab pouring, the 10-meter foundation pit of the clinical teaching building of the Medical Education Cooperation Project of Hainan Provincial People's Hospital smoothly rushed out of the positive and negative zero node. The project has entered the stage of comprehensive tackling of the main structure, and it is expected that the annual target of the main body of the teaching building and the dormitory building can be completed as planned.

The Provincial People's Hospital Medical Education Collaboration Project is the first reform demonstration project in our province to build a clinical medical school in a hospital. The construction of this project will directly promote the transformation of the Provincial People's Hospital from a single medical general hospital to a medical education compound research hospital, and realize the integrated development of medical education and research under the concept of "new medical science" education reform. The project plans to invest 370 million yuan, with a total construction area of 52654.08 square meters. The main construction is a clinical medicine teaching building and a single student dormitory building. The functions include various classrooms, laboratory and practice rooms, teaching and research rooms, student dormitories, student activity rooms, equipment rooms, warehouses, and underground garages. After the project is completed, it is expected to undertake nearly half of the province's clinical practice medical education tasks. Through the creation of a diagnosis and treatment platform for difficult cardio-cerebrovascular diseases based on precision medicine technology, a multimodal molecular imaging precision diagnosis platform, a minimally invasive non-invasive precision diagnosis and treatment platform, and a holographic visualization hybrid surgery platform, the Provincial People's Hospital will promote the integration and development of superior medical disciplines, scientific research and education.

At the same time, since the start of construction on December 31, 2020, the project has strictly implemented the concept of efficient construction and closely cooperated with the process to intersperse. During the foundation pit support stage of the project, the project construction party interspersed the water-stop curtain with the pile foundation construction successively, and arranged earth excavation locally, which seized valuable time opportunities for subsequent construction. The student dormitory building of the project completed the structure 23 days earlier than planned to break the positive and negative points. In addition, the project is constructed using prefabricated buildings, especially teaching buildings, using a prefabricated steel structure construction system, with an assembly rate of 91%. It is expected to become the first prefabricated building project above the 3A standard in Hainan.

At present, the project has maintained a progress of completing the construction of one floor in 5 to 6 days, and the goal of positive and negative nodes of the teaching building has been successfully achieved, laying a good foundation for the project's goal of sprinting the structure of the ceiling.
