Fujian Province will account for more than 35% of prefabricated buildings in 2025

A few days ago, nine departments including the Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of Fujian Province jointly issued a document. It is required to promote the reform of construction methods, develop new-type building industrialization, promote the coordinated development of new-type building industrialization, intelligent construction, and green construction, promote building industrialization, digitalization, intelligentization, and green and low-carbon construction, so as to achieve high-quality development of the province's construction industry.

9 departments have made it clear that by 2025, the province will realize that the proportion of prefabricated buildings in the construction area of new buildings will reach more than 35%. Among them, the Fuzhou, Xiamen, Quanzhou, and Zhangzhou regions play a demonstrative role, expand the promotion area, and extend to the counties under their jurisdiction. By 2025, the proportion of prefabricated buildings in new buildings will not be less than 40% (Fuzhou urban areas will not be less than 50%). Putian, Longyan, Sanming, Nanping no less than 35%, Ningde, Pingtan comprehensive experimental area no less than 30%.

Focus on the development of prefabricated buildings, coordinate the development of smart construction technology, cultivate no less than 20 general contracting companies with prefabricated buildings and smart construction solutions capabilities, and no less than 10 smart prefabricated building production companies. The level of industrialization, digitization, and intelligence of buildings has been significantly improved, and the industrial foundation, technical equipment, scientific and technological innovation capabilities, and the level of building safety and quality have been comprehensively improved.

By 2035, significant progress will be made in the industrialization of new-type buildings and the development of intelligent construction in Fujian Province, the innovation capabilities of enterprises will be greatly improved, the overall advantages of the industry will be significantly enhanced, and the modernization of the construction industry will be fully realized.
