On October 20th, the exhibition and promotion meeting of new technologies and new products in the "12+1" industrial chain of the seven hundred billion industries in Yueyang City was held. Manufacturers of prefabricated buildings and new building materials made their brilliant appearances at the promotion meeting, demonstrating the development achievements of the modern construction industry chain.

At the promotion meeting, Hunan Kaibo Hangxiao Construction Technology Co., Ltd., Broad Construction Technology, Hunan Shengda New Material Technology Co., Ltd. and other leading enterprises in the industrial chain of prefabricated buildings and new construction materials in Yueyang City deeply promoted new construction products and new technologies.

Kaibo Hangxiao is an intelligent green prefabricated construction enterprise integrating R&D, design, production, sales and construction. The new technology brought by this exhibition is the third-generation steel structure prefabricated high-rise residential system, which has core advantages such as excellent seismic performance, short construction period, high housing yield, and flexible layout.

Wang Kaiyan, chairman of Hunan Kaibo Hangxiao Construction Technology Co., Ltd., told reporters, "The biggest highlight of the product is the replacement of the original square pipe columns with steel pipe bundle shear walls. The entire building has no convex beams and convex columns, which is convenient for customers to decorate and use later."

In order to fully realize the overall work goal of 100 billion yuan in output value of green building materials, the Municipal Housing and Urban-rural Construction Bureau has taken various measures simultaneously. In the past few years, the industrial chain of prefabricated buildings and new building materials in Yueyang City has continued to extend. Batches of prefabricated buildings and new building materials enterprises have established roots in Yueyang City, flourishing, and become a new vitality to stimulate urban economic growth.

It is reported that at present, Yueyang City has 10 prefabricated building production bases and 20 green building materials star-rated enterprises in the industrial chain of prefabricated buildings and new building materials. There are more than 200 enterprises on new building materials regulations (20 leading enterprises and key enterprises), and 242 professional steel structure contracting enterprises. Now it has formed a whole industry chain cultivation and development system integrating three major industries, including prefabricated building manufacturing, prefabricated building design and construction industry, and prefabricated building supporting service industry, 8 categories, 28 sub-categories, and more than 100 technical products. From January to September this year, the city implemented prefabricated construction area of 1.35 million m2; 31 new contracted projects, planned investment of 12.155 billion, 13 new projects put into operation, and completed investment of 2.69 billion. The entire industry chain, including real estate, construction, building materials, decoration, and construction equipment manufacturing, has completed an output value of 72 billion yuan. It is estimated that by 2025, the city's building materials industry and prefabricated construction industry will strive to achieve operating income of 25 billion yuan and 10 billion yuan respectively; the prefabricated buildings in the city's main urban area will account for more than 45% of new buildings.
