Bengbu City, Anhui Province: Construction of prefabricated housing projects started

On October 22, the Bengbu Binhu Garden (Phase II) project in Anhui officially started, marking the construction phase of major livelihood projects in Bengbu City.

The Bengbu Lakeside Garden (Phase II) project undertaken by China Railway Fourth Bureau is located on the north side of Lishui West Street, Economic Development Zone, Bengbu City, Anhui Province. In the east of Tiedong Road, west of Longhu West Road (Yueming Street), and the south of Longwan Road (Xingmin Road), the total land area is about 43,000 square meters and the total construction area is 117.6 million square meters. It is mainly responsible for 8 resettlement housing buildings, auxiliary buildings such as kindergartens, power distribution rooms, underground garages, community roads, water supply and drainage, landscape greening and photovoltaic power generation and other supporting projects. In the construction process, prefabricated buildings are used, and the assembly rate is as high as 51%.

Prefabricated building refers to the transfer of a large amount of on-site work in the traditional construction method to the factory, where the building components and accessories (such as floor slabs, wall panels, stairs, balconies, etc.) are processed and manufactured in the factory. Then it is transported to the construction site, and the building is assembled and installed on-site through a reliable connection method. Because it adopts standardized design, factory production, assembly construction, information management, and intelligent application, it is the representative of modern industrialized production methods.

After the project is completed, it will become a new green home with beautiful environment, reasonable layout, complete functions, energy saving and environmental protection in the Economic Development Zone of Bengbu City. This is of great significance for accelerating the urbanization process of Bengbu and building a livable ecological city.
