"According to the traditional construction model, the construction of stairs and floor slabs requires tying steel bars and pouring concrete on site. There are hundreds of workers on a building during construction, and it takes at least half a year. With prefabricated construction, only a small number of workers and installation technicians are needed, and a project like this can be completed within one month at most.” Said Mu Chungang, general manager of Baotou Zhongshang Steel Structure Co., Ltd.

Prefabricated buildings are buildings assembled from prefabricated components on the construction site. Vividly speaking, they are "building a house like a car." In the prefabricated building construction site, the on-site assembly mode greatly reduces the emission of various pollutants, and can also allocate the use of resources more rationally, effectively achieving the effects of energy saving, environmental protection and high efficiency. According to statistics from relevant departments, prefabricated buildings can achieve energy saving, water saving, material saving, land saving and staff saving compared with traditional construction methods. The production and construction process is environmentally friendly and pollution-free, and the construction period is only 1/3 of the traditional construction method. It has many advantages such as controllable quality, controllable cost, and controllable schedule.

In the production workshop of Baotou Zhongshang Steel Structure Co., Ltd., the reporter saw that on the company's four production lines, automated "cutting robots" automatically measured length, automatically bent, and welded steel bars in accordance with established procedures. Every process is orderly, and the workshop is only equipped with a small number of technicians to control or patrol occasionally.

Mu Chungang said that the company will be constructed in two phases, with a total investment of 95 million yuan, covering an area of about 45 mu. The main construction is a steel structure production line with an annual processing capacity of 20,000 tons and a color steel sandwich panel production line with an annual processing capacity of 2 million square meters. At present, the first phase of the project has been completed and put into production. At present, the company has a steady stream of orders, the order amount has reached 200 million yuan, and the production capacity of the steel structure is expected to reach 30,000 tons, which has a bright prospect.

It is understood that as early as 2016, the State Council has issued a notice requesting the vigorous promotion of prefabricated buildings. In recent years, Jiuyuan District has accelerated the construction of a resource-saving and environment-friendly society, continuously optimized the industrial structure, strengthened technological progress and innovation, strengthened energy-saving work in key areas, and strived to promote the high-quality development of green buildings.

In addition to the prefabricated construction processing production line project of Zhongshang Steel Structure Co., Ltd., this year, the Inner Mongolia Huajian Green Smart Prefabricated Construction Industrial Base project with a total investment of 586 million yuan is also under construction in Jiuyuan District. At present, the main body of the first phase of the project is about to be completed, and equipment is being installed one after another. Different from Zhongshang Steel Structure, the Huajian Lvzhi Prefabricated Construction Industrial Base project mainly produces prefabricated prefabricated concrete structures. The reporter saw that samples of precast concrete structures such as laminated panels, prefabricated interior wall panels, exterior wall panels, and staircase boards were displayed on the production site of the enterprise.

Wang Changkun, the person in charge of the enterprise, pointed to one of the prefabricated exterior wall panels and said: "This kind of board is called'sandwich board' in the industry. It not only has a fast construction speed, but also effectively solves the common problems of rainwater leakage and the peeling off of the external wall thermal insulation stucco layer. It is most suitable for high-rise residential use."

Wang Changkun said that industrialized methods have allowed building construction to have higher engineering "precision" in high-speed operation. The prefabricated components produced by the enterprise are cast in the factory at one time and are not easy to crack. The surface flatness deviation is less than 0.1%, which will effectively solve the common quality problems such as "honeycomb surface", "expansion mold" and "explosive mold" common in traditional construction methods.

The project is planned to be completed and put into production at the end of this year. After all production is put into operation, it is estimated that the new output value will be 220 million yuan and the tax will be 15 million yuan. "This is a major means for our construction industry to save energy and reduce emissions, especially to promote carbon peaks and carbon neutrality." Wang Changkun said.

In the context of achieving "carbon peak" and "carbon neutrality" in China, the Jiuyuan District vigorously develops the prefabricated construction industry is an important way to achieve the "dual carbon" goal.
