According to the "Key Points of Construction Technology and Foreign Cooperation in 2021" issued by the Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Development Committee in the first half of this year, Chongqing will focus on the development of prefabricated buildings, accelerate the modernization of the construction industry, and promote the improvement of construction level and construction quality. In 2021, the city strives to start construction of more than 15 million square meters of prefabricated buildings.

In addition, Chongqing also proposed that by 2025, the proportion of newly-started prefabricated buildings in the city will not be less than 30%, and the output value of the modern construction industry will reach more than 300 billion yuan.

As the policy continues to increase, Chongqing prefabricated construction is flourishing. Currently, Chongqing prefabricated construction parts and components have formed a production capacity that can supply about 20 million square meters of prefabricated construction project construction needs, and initially has external radiation capabilities. Some products are supplied to Chengdu, Neijiang, Guang'an in Sichuan, Tongzi, Zunyi in Guizhou, etc. .

Up to now, nearly 30 districts and counties in the city have piloted prefabricated buildings. 6 national-level prefabricated construction industry bases and 28 municipal-level industrial bases have been built; prefabricated buildings have been promoted and used in more than 200 projects, and the proportion of prefabricated buildings in the city has reached more than 15%. Among them, in addition to the aforementioned Han Enyue Garden in Bishan District, the prefabricated residential projects include the Farmers Village Project in Wenshengchang, Zhangtang Town, Qijiang District, Lanbowan·Yongjiang Photogenic Project in Wanzhou District, and Vanke Forest Park in Liangjiang New District.
