Hebei Province: The proportion of newly built prefabricated buildings in cities and towns will reach 30% in 2025

The reporter learned from the press conference on the "14th Five-Year" Plan for Housing and Urban-Rural Development of Hebei Province held by the Hebei Provincial Government Information Office on September 23 that during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, Hebei Province will vigorously develop green buildings, implement near-zero energy consumption building promotion projects, continue to maintain the "China Leading" level in the field of construction, and create an internationally competitive "Hebei Construction" brand.

According to reports, during the "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan" period, newly-built residential buildings in Hebei Province will fully implement the 75% energy-saving standards, and civil buildings will fully implement the green building standards. The proportion of new green buildings in cities and towns has increased significantly, from 26.7% in 2015 to 93.44%. Vigorously develop near-zero energy-consumption buildings, that is, passive ultra-low-energy buildings, with a total of 4.1694 million square meters of construction, which is the first in the country in terms of total construction area.

The "14th Five-Year Plan" period is a critical period for the green and low-carbon transformation of the construction sector in Hebei Province, as well as a period of development opportunities. According to the requirements of the "14th Five-Year Plan for Housing and Urban-Rural Development in Hebei Province", Hebei Province will further realize green and low-carbon development during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period and expand the construction scale of nearly zero energy-consuming buildings. It is estimated that by 2025, the province has built a total of approximately 13.4 million square meters of building area with zero energy consumption. By 2025, the province's newly built star-rated green buildings will account for more than 50% of the newly built green building area that year, and the newly built prefabricated buildings in cities and towns will account for 30% of the newly built buildings that year.
