Recently, Wenzhou Municipal Bureau of Housing and Urban-rural Development issued the "Notice of the 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-2025) for the Development of Wenzhou Construction Industry". It is required that by 2025, full decoration of newly built commercial housing on state-owned land in central urban areas shall be fully implemented, the finished products shall be delivered, the prefabricated decoration will be gradually promoted, and the in-depth integration of fully decorated residential buildings and prefabricated buildings will be promoted.

In recent years, with the policy promotion of prefabricated buildings, prefabricated decoration has gradually become a hot word in the field of home improvement. So, what is prefabricated decoration? What is the difference between prefabricated decoration and traditional decoration? The so-called prefabricated decoration is a decoration method in which the parts and components produced by the factory are assembled and installed on the spot. It mainly includes: dry construction method building (ground), integrated kitchen, integrated bathroom, pipeline and structure separation, etc.

Compared with traditional decoration, prefabricated decoration uses dry construction instead of wet construction, and factory production instead of manual craftsmanship. It is clear that by 2020, prefabricated decoration buildings will account for more than 15% of new construction in the country, and 20% of the key areas need to be promoted.

According to the notice issued this time, it is clear that Wenzhou City will gradually promote prefabricated decoration, strengthen the application of prefabricated decoration in commercial housing and public construction projects, and promote the deep integration of prefabricated decoration and steel structure and other prefabricated buildings. Accelerate research on prefabricated decoration technology and standards, and promote pipeline separation and integrated decoration technology. Promote the application of integrated modular building parts, improve the industrial supporting capabilities of building parts such as integrated bathrooms, integrated kitchens, and integrated doors and windows, and gradually form a standardized and serialized supply system of building parts.

Not only that, the Wenzhou Municipal Housing and Urban-rural Development Bureau recently drafted and completed the "Implementation Opinions on Promoting the Quality Development of Wenzhou's Construction Industry Reform and Innovation" (Draft for Solicitation of Comments). While clearly expediting the promotion of assembly decoration, it is also proposed that future community projects should specify in the land transfer documents that no less than 20% of the residential building area on the ground should be implemented with assembly decoration.

It is understood that prefabricated decoration is roughly divided into ground system, wall system, ceiling (ceiling) system, bathroom system, kitchen system, pipeline system, etc., and the cabinets and wooden doors themselves have already been assembled. In fact, as a "new thing", prefabricated decoration has only emerged in the Wenzhou decoration market for only two or three years. At present, it is just staying on the assembly of parts, such as integrated ceilings, integrated wall panels, and fully equipped kitchens and bathrooms have been widely used, but the whole house assembly has not been significantly promoted.

" The relevant person in charge of the Wenzhou Green Building and Construction Industrialization Promotion Association introduced that in order to promote the development of the prefabricated decoration industry, the association has also established a prefabricated decoration committee, which has attracted a number of well-known enterprises in the province and city.
