Inner Mongolia vigorously develops prefabricated interior decoration

According to information from the General Office of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Government, Inner Mongolia will vigorously promote the green development of new-type construction industrialization, develop prefabricated buildings, and increase the proportion of prefabricated decoration.

Starting from 2023, the Inner Mongolian government-invested projects have adopted prefabricated buildings in principle, and the assembly rate has been increased year by year. By 2025, the prefabricated buildings in the whole district will account for more than 30% of the newly built building area that year. Among them, the main urban areas of Hohhot and Baotou will reach more than 40%, and the main urban areas where other league cities are located will strive to reach more than 20%. By 2030, the prefabricated buildings in the region will account for more than 40% of the newly built building area that year.

At the same time, new prefabricated buildings will be fully decorated with prefabricated construction. All league cities will formulate policies and measures based on local conditions and advance year by year, and strive to achieve a prefabricated decoration rate of more than 30% of commercial houses in central urban areas of the league by 2025, and a prefabricated decoration rate of more than 15% of commercial houses in banner counties (cities, districts).

Inner Mongolia will also vigorously develop green buildings. Starting from 2022, new buildings in the overall urban planning area of the whole district will fully implement the green building standards; by 2025, the proportion of star-rated green buildings in the whole district will exceed 30% of new buildings, and the proportion of renewable energy used in civil buildings will reach 30%. They will steadily develop "passive" buildings. By 2025, cities and towns in the district will fully implement ultra-low energy consumption construction standards. It will also build green building materials production bases on a trial basis in Xilin Gol League and Ulan Chabu City.
