Hefei City, Anhui Province plans to build a building industrialization cluster oriented to the Yangtze River Delta

Recently, the Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of Anhui Province announced an important list, and Hefei was listed as a model city for prefabricated buildings in the province. According to the plan, in the future, we will build a prefabricated construction industry cluster for the Yangtze River Delta, focusing on improving the industrial chain and improving the level of science and technology.

List: Hefei is listed as a provincial prefabricated building demonstration city

In order to effectively solve the problems of high energy consumption, easy pollution and frequent quality problems in the construction industry, in recent years, the central government and provinces and cities have continued to introduce relevant policies to vigorously promote prefabricated buildings. Today, after review by experts and online publicity, the Anhui Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development has announced a list of provincial-level prefabricated construction demonstration cities, industrial parks and industrial bases, aiming to consolidate the foundation for the development of the province’s construction industrialization and improve the implementation capabilities in the field of prefabricated buildings.

There are only three cities in the list of provincial-level prefabricated construction demonstration cities, and Hefei is on the list. In the list of provincial prefabricated construction industrial parks, Hefei Anhui Chaohu Fuhuang Industrial Park, Hefei Changfeng County Wushan Prefabricated Construction Industrial Park, and Bengbu Economic Development Zone Prefabricated Construction Industrial Park were selected. In addition, 21 units including the Anhui Provincial Institute of Architectural Research and Design are included in the provincial prefabricated industrial base.

The Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development requires that all prefabricated building demonstration cities, industrial parks and industrial bases should clarify the development path according to the declared implementation plan, strengthen the summary and promotion of experience, and promote the development of the regional prefabricated building industry. The relevant municipal authorities shall actively promote the implementation of prefabricated building demonstration cities in the region, strengthen supervision of industrial bases and industrial parks, and the provincial government will implement dynamic management and conduct regular evaluations.

Planning: Build 10 national industrial bases

In recent years, Hefei prefabricated buildings have a solid foundation for healthy and steady development, and the core competitiveness of prefabricated construction enterprises has been continuously improved. Aiming at the "hundred-billion-industry" of construction industrialization, we will vigorously attract investment and speed up project construction. The cumulative construction of prefabricated buildings exceeds 17 million square meters.

Next, Hefei will take the opportunity of being selected as a model city for prefabricated buildings in the province, and build a prefabricated building industrial cluster based in Anhui and facing the Yangtze River Delta in various aspects such as improving the industrial chain, promoting enterprise transformation, and upgrading the level of technology.

It is planned that by 2025, there will be 30 key manufacturers of concrete parts and components, with a total designed production capacity of more than 5 million cubic meters. There are 5 key manufacturing companies for fabricated steel components, with a total designed production capacity of 3 million tons; no less than 100 key companies for design, production, R&D, and testing will be cultivated. 3 national prefabricated construction industrial parks, 10 national prefabricated construction industrial bases, and 30 provincial prefabricated construction industrial bases have been built to give full play to the demonstration, leading and leading role.

Science and Technology: Promote research and development of complete sets of residential energy-saving technologies

In response to common quality problems that are prone to existing buildings, the Hefei construction department will increase scientific and technological innovation, establish a number of innovation bases such as new-type building industrialization technology innovation centers, key laboratories, and establish a new-type building industrialization innovation alliance to carry out research on key technologies for prefabricated buildings. Explore and promote the application of construction robots with human-machine coordination and independent learning functions, and promote market applications such as fabricated thermal insulation integrated wall panels, high-performance concrete, high-strength steel bars, and energy dissipation and shock absorption.

Encourage enterprises to increase investment in scientific and technological innovation, and achieve steady growth in the application rate of technological equipment, patents, and construction methods. Promote the research and development of new technologies and products such as residential energy-saving complete technology, environmental protection complete technology, and residential intelligent integration technology, and continuously improve the conversion rate of results.

Innovate the supervision mechanism of prefabricated building design review, component production, project acceptance, etc., and standardize behaviors such as factory acceptance and process inspection. Promote lean construction, strengthen the prevention of common quality problems, and do a good job in the control of key parts and procedures such as the entry of parts and components, construction and installation, and waterproof and anti-corrosion.
