"Assembled" priority for newly built resettlement houses in Hefei, Anhui Province

On September 6, the Hefei Urban and Rural Construction Bureau announced the news. In the future, the city will give priority to prefabricated steel structures for large public buildings, large-span industrial plants, standardized bridges, pedestrian bridges, and three-dimensional garages. Newly built residential buildings such as resettlement houses, affordable housing, and talent apartments will all be included in the prefabricated building project library.

The so-called "prefabricated building" refers to the transfer of a large number of on-site work in the traditional construction method to the factory. Building components and accessories (such as floor slabs, wall panels, stairs, balconies, etc.) are processed in the factory, transported to the construction site, and assembled and installed on-site through reliable connections. "Compared with traditional construction methods, prefabricated buildings have the characteristics of energy saving, environmental protection, and short construction period." According to the relevant person in charge of the Hefei Urban and Rural Construction Bureau, during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, Hefei will cultivate a group of leading enterprises with strong R&D capabilities, large scale and strong comprehensive advantages. By 2025, the city's prefabricated buildings will strive to reach 20 million square meters per year, reducing carbon emissions by nearly 30%; prefabricated buildings account for more than 30% of the newly built building area. At the same time, 3 national prefabricated construction industrial parks, 10 national prefabricated construction industrial bases, and 30 provincial prefabricated construction industrial bases have been built.

According to the plan, Hefei City will take Luyang District, Shushan District, Baohe District, Yaohai District, Economic Development Zone, High-tech Zone, and Xinzhan High-tech Zone as the key areas for promotion. Anchao Economic Development Zone, Chaohu City, Feixi County, Feidong County, Changfeng County, and Lujiang County are actively promoted areas, and other areas are encouraged to promote areas. By the end of the "14th Five-Year Plan", the implementation ratio of prefabricated buildings in key areas will reach 35%, and the ratio of regional prefabricated buildings will be actively promoted to reach more than 30%. According to the requirements, all newly built resettlement houses, affordable housing, talent apartments and other residential buildings and government-invested public buildings with a construction area of more than 100,000 square meters will all be included in the prefabricated building project library.

The reporter saw in the plan that Hefei will vigorously promote the popularization and application of prefabricated buildings in municipal engineering, public buildings, industrial buildings, and infrastructure construction projects. Large-scale public buildings, large-span industrial plants, standardized bridges, pedestrian bridges, and three-dimensional garages are given priority to adopt prefabricated steel structures. In the construction of rural houses, prefabricated light steel structure buildings are preferred, and the application of wood structures in tourism and vacation, garden landscape and antique architectural projects is advocated.
